Before Your Appointment

  • Vaccination Requirements

    For the safety of all pets, the following vaccination are required:

    • Rabies

    • Distemper (DHPP)

    • Kennel Cough (not required but encouraged)

    Proof of vaccination is required. Please bring a copy of vaccine record to appointment or email a copy to soulfulgroomingdsm@gmail.com

  • What To Expect

    • One-on-one appointments

    • Same groomer from start to finish

    • No daycare or boarding environment

    • individualized care tailored to your dog’s needs

  • Matting Policy

    Your dog’s comfort and well-being always come first.

    Severely matted coats can be painful and may hide skin irritation, bruising, or other issues.

    For this reason, Soulful Grooming does not perform extensive de-matting.

    If matting is present, a shorter haircut may be recommended to safely remove the coat and keep your dog comfortable.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.

  • Late Arrival Policy

    To keep appointments running smoothly for all pups, dogs not picked up within 30 minutes of completion may be subject to a late pick up fee of $30 for every 30 minutes past completion time.

  • Most appointments take between 2-4 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, temperament and selected services.

  • To help dogs remain calm and focused, owners are typically not present during grooming appointments. This allows me to build trust with your pet and provide the safest, most comfortable grooming experience possible. If any concerns arise during the appointment, I will contact you right away.

  • Many dogs feel nervous during grooming. Soulful Grooming specializes in a calm, one-on-one environment designed to help dogs feel comfortable.

  • Severe matting may require a shorter haircut to safely remove the coat and prevent discomfort. If this is needed, I will reach out to let you know of the situation.

  • YES! Dog’s of all sizes are welcome at Soulful Grooming!

  • Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4-8 weeks depending on coat type, lifestyle and desired length!
