Thank you for choosing Soulful Grooming! My goal is to provide a calm one-on-one grooming experience where every dog feels comfortable, safe and cared for. Before your appointment, please review the information below!

Before Your Appointment

  • Vaccination Requirements

    For the safety of all pets, the following vaccinations are required:

    • Rabies

    • Distemper (DHPP)

    • Kennel Cough (not required but encouraged)

    Proof of vaccination is required. Please bring a copy of vaccine record to appointment or email a copy to soulfulgroomingdsm@gmail.com

  • What To Expect

    • One-on-one appointments

    • Same groomer from start to finish

    • No daycare or boarding environment

    • Individualized care tailored to your dog’s needs

    • Please give your pup a potty break before arrival to appointment.

    • Luxury spa upgrades available

  • Matting Policy

    Your dog’s comfort and well-being always come first.

    Severely matted coats can be painful and may hide skin irritation, bruising, or other issues.

    For this reason, Soulful Grooming does not perform extensive de-matting.

    If matting is present, a shorter haircut may be recommended to safely remove the coat and keep your dog comfortable.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.

  • Late Arrival Policy

    To keep appointments running smoothly for all pups, dogs not picked up within 30 minutes of completion may be subject to a late pick up fee of $15 for every 30 minutes past completion time.

  • Severe Flea & Tick Infestation

    If there is a severe flea or tick infestation we may need to stop the grooming appointment to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet and other pets in our care. Your pet may need to be picked up and seen by a veterinarian before grooming can safely continue. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the health and safety of every pet entrusted to us.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • YES! Please give your pup an opportunity to potty before arriving to their appointment. A quick walk beforehand helps your dog feel more comfortable during their grooming session and allows me to focus on providing the best experience possible.

  • Most appointments take between 2-4 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, temperament and selected services.

  • Yes! You are able to stay while your pet is being groomed, there is a waiting area with coffee and tea (see below for more info!) Please keep in mind appointments can range in time. If there for a simple nail trim that could be as fast as 15 minutes but a full groom can take up to 2-3 hours.

  • Many dogs feel nervous during grooming. Soulful Grooming specializes in a calm, one-on-one environment designed to help dogs feel comfortable.

  • Severe matting may require a shorter haircut to safely remove the coat and prevent discomfort. If this is needed, I will reach out to let you know of the situation.

  • YES! Dog’s of all sizes are welcome at Soulful Grooming!

  • Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4-8 weeks depending on coat type, lifestyle and desired length!

While your pup is being pampered, make yourself comfortable!
Our cozy waiting area is designed with you in mind. Relax, watch TV, and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, water, and a few snacks while your pup receives their one-on-one grooming experience.

You're welcome to stay and enjoy the space during your pet's appointment, or step out and return when your pup is ready. Either way, your pet will receive our undivided attention in a calm and peaceful environment.
